Ange Postecoglu's late beginning to the season has commenced in the worst way possible. With the Forest fans immediately on his back due to the Australian being brought in to replace one of the Reds' best managers in a generation, Ange's first three games were nothing to write home about.
It's back home in Australia where Forest (like Spurs before them) immediately became a preferred football team of many Australian, solely due to their charismatic head coach. Forest's owner is known to be impetuous, and in this case, Ange may not have a job for much longer, despite his friendship with Mr Marinakis.
A big defeat to Arsenal in Ange's opener wasn't unexpected, but a Carabao Cup exit to second-tier Swansea and dissapointing draw at Turf Moor hasn't offered much excitement to those in the red half of Nottingham.
The season isn't expected to be easy for Forest, and one reason clubs may change boss could be to enjoy the fruits of the new manager bounce (20 of the last 26 Premier League managerial changes saw the new boss earn more points per game in his first five matches than his predecessor).
The season still looks exciting for Forest, but fans will hope the trophy Ange promised in season two won't be the Championship title.
